History of PSSNY

The PSSNY is a non-profit organization for photography and open to general public.  The PSSNY was established and registered in State of  New York, USA in 1998 by Mr.Yui Shing Lee,  Mr.Ban Hung Tam and Mr.Chi Shen Wong. 

With the help of the members of  PSSNY, we sponsored the first PSSNY International Salon of Photography for color prints and color slides in 1999.  Since then we continued to sponsor the Salon every year afterward. We promote the art of photography through lectures, seminars, workshops, members’ quarterly competitions, members’ work exhibitions and also sponsored a mini-antique camera show in May 2007. Especially, we received most favorable responses from the “Get Out of Chinatown, Reach to the World” from the 2006 PSSNY members’ touring exhibitions at New York metropolitan area (Manhattan, Nov. 2006, Flushing, Dec. 2006 and Chinatown. Jan. 2007).

We welcome the public, the youth group and female sector to join us and became a member of  PSSNY.

We had representatives from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Yuenan (China) as well as to invite experienced photographer to be served as adviser.
